What started as an April Fool’s joke, is now a reality. A T-Shirt, a Geek Gadget, from Think Geek, could change the lives of the profoundly disabled. The T-Shirt has the ability to save up to 25 voice messages and speak them at a finger touch. This obviously has potential as a real communication and accessibility device for people who have difficulty speaking. For only $40.00, this T-Shirt, combined with a voice recognition software, could drastically change lives. For certain, there are already devices that do this sort of thing, but they are often specialized, expensive, and difficult to replace or upgrade. And decidedly unhip. Disabled does NOT mean having to be uncool!
